Simplify Your Life Week

Well I don’t know who made the first week in August National Simplify Your Life week but I would like to give them a big hug! My whole life is about helping people simplify so here are some tips to do just that:

1. Only set attainable goals that you have time to accomplish
Example: read 12 books per year

2. Put 3 items max on your daily To-Do list (anything that can’t get done today gets added to your calendar and anything you do every day is a routine)
Example: Finish proposal, Grocery shopping, Take kids to practice

3. Delegate Delegate Delegate – what can you have someone else do for you?
Example: house cleaner

4. Use unroll.me to tackle your overwhelming e-mails
Example: unsubscribe to thousands of e-mails in seconds & roll multiple e-mails into 1 per day

5. Find a calendar system you like and will use
Example: paper, Google, dry erase

6. Prepare for tomorrow tonight
Example: make lunches, put out clothes and have back packs ready every night

Start with one per week and in 6 weeks, you will have an extra hour each day to enjoy!
