Looking for a quick and easy project? Clean out your fridge and freezer!

Step 1

Open your refrigerator and throw away anything that’s expired, leaking or smelly. 

Step 2

Remove the rest of the items from the fridge and set them on the counter.

Step 3

Clean all the shelves, drawers and door areas with a multi-purpose cleaner and vacuum the vent area at the bottom.

Step 4

Put all items back and make sure all like items are together. For example, place all the cheeses together, all the fruits and veggies together, all condiments in one area, etc.

*You do not need fancy bins but of you want it magazine worthy, they sell clear storage bins for your fridge at Container Store, Target, Walmart and even Dollar General*

For the freezer, repeat steps 1-4 above.
