Heather hosted three informative and insightful presentations for the Forsyth County Public Library system in the past year. One of the programs was presented to library staff, consisting of 150+ employees and focused on work life balance and time management. The other two programs were designed for public programming focused on getting organized, simplifying our lifestyle and getting our families school-ready.

Participants of both the staff training and public programs gained new knowledge and tips to better manage time, declutter and organize stuff and adapt healthier lifestyle choices. Emphasis was placed on redirecting focus on the people and areas of our lives that matter most.

Heather introduced creative and efficient ways to transform our spaces both at work and home to complement our busy lives. Using common household items, Heather shared new and innovative ways to repurpose these items to organize all our stuff. During the staff training segment, Heather fielded a wide variety of questions on work-life balance, meal preparation and decluttering our minds and spaces. She is well-informed, open-minded and highly proficient on all areas of organization. So many of us rely on technology to navigate each day, and Heather was well-versed on helpful apps and websites to declutter and streamline our lives.

We will definitely invite Heather back again to share her knowledge and empower our community to transform their lives for more organized, simplified and healthier living!

If there were a rating higher than an A, Heather is certainly worthy of that grade. I would give her a 5-star. I have had 3 surgeries in 2 years, my son moved back in with me for 2 years when he completed his military tour and my house had gotten out of hand. I wasn’t able to do very much due to health issues and was in dire need of organization and clutter clearing.

Heather’s initial visit was to assess the project and determine the amount of time needed and then developed a plan to tackle all of my various needs. She is incredibly organized, very high energy, extremely positive/can-do attitude and has a sincere passion for what she does. She is definitely like the Energizer Bunny!!!!!!

She started first by moving the furniture in the two rooms, worked on de-cluttering, arranged the furniture: desk/filing cabinet and bed in such a way as to make the room very pleasing and more functional. She set up stations for donations/shredding/trash/filing/decorative items, etc. and then set about clearing 2 closets and the office of 7 years of paperwork, clothing, bedding, decorative items. The 3 closets where so full you were unable to get into the closets. The two unused bathrooms had turned into storage as well and Heather cleared them out and now they are beautiful and functional!!!!

I had put off this project for so long because it was completely overwhelming to me. Heather tackled each area and made the tasks doable and believe it or not, fun!!!!!! As part of her service I was so grateful that she took everything to a donation center, recycle center and shredding center. Within a day or two I got an email from her with a receipt and a list of donation items for my taxes. She is incredible!!!!!

This past week I just walked around the rooms in amazement and wonder and have opened the closets to just stare inside because everything looks so amazing. I would highly recommend Heather for any job large or small and can’t wait for her to come back in a few weeks to tackle my garage.

This was an exceptional experience. I had no idea there was such thing as a professional organizer but thank goodness that there is. If Simply Organized is an example of what companies like this can do, then it should no longer be a secret. They took on the task of unpacking hundreds of boxes in a home and swiftly and efficiently got the job done; I could have taken a month do what they did in just (part-time) three days. They had a vision and plan and process which makes the entire exercise and unbelievably effective one. They had numerous solid suggestions and worked at a very steady and fast pace. True professionals that are worth every last cent.

My father was ‘gifted’ a generous half-day of packing/organizing assistance with Heather of Simply Organized (by our realtor) last week and this gift was a life-saver. Well, at least Heather saved my sanity – my father’s large home sold quickly and the terms of sale required him to be packed and moved in less than two weeks. After six days of culling/combining possessions, I still was only halfway through and most of the packing remained – photographs, mementos and a ton of kitchenware and pantry items. Enter Simply Organized – Heather showed up, asked what our priorities were, then proceeded to sort and pack. She even brought boxes/tape and hauled off several cartons of items to Goodwill for me! Two days after the move, she came to my father’s new residence and proceeded to unpack nearly everything in two hours — AND it was all organized neatly according to the way he used things/his physical limitations. To be honest, I initially thought the company’s hourly rate was high, but after she had 75% of the packing done in three hours, I decided I would pay whatever it took to get the job done – the results and the level of stress reduction was worth every dollar. I would definitely consider using her services again.

To say that Heather helped my marriage is an understatement. She helped two middle-aged “newlyweds” tackle the complications that can arise when blending households. She lovingly assisted us in making those difficult decisions about what to toss and what to keep and had a plan of action for those things we wanted to keep. She is worth her going rate and more for the impact she will have on the presentation of your home on the market buyers and for exceeding your expectations. She started by giving us a consultancy appointment to discuss her services, reviewed the condition of the house, and gave us a few options on the level of organizing, staging and renovations to match our requirements and marketability of our home (not too much, not too little). She then came back a few days later with supplies and within one day, organized and de-cluttered our home, assisted us in removing excess furniture and other things and magically staged our home into a very airy, open, organized, easily cleaned, and most importantly buyer optimized presentation (again this was completed in essentially one day! on a 4 bedroom 3,300 square foot house).
